Step Ladders

Step ladders are useful and versatile shorter ladders that are suitable for a variety of tasks around the home and in the garden.  Step ladders have an A-shaped design, which enables them to be easily folded away for storage.  Because a step ladder is so useful, and it has a handy compact size, it is a really convenient accessory to keep in your kitchen cupboard, shed or garage.  You just never know when it will come in handy!  A folding step ladder can be helpful in a multitude of household tasks, from painting and decorating to changing a light bulb or hanging curtains.

Although step ladders are not as high as other types of ladder, sensible safety precautions should still be taken.  Look for a step ladder with footpads on its feet for extra grip, and corrugated or non-slip steps for your comfort.  Ensure you always position your stepladder on a flat, level surface.  When working up there, don't over reach and do make sure the clothing you wear isn't likely to get caught on the ladder.
